How soon can I get my order?

All orders are processed within 24 business hours of receipt. Actual shipping time is contingent upon availability of merchandise and credit verification by AHI's Credit and Fraud Protection department. Most orders are shipped within 72 business hours of receipt. Expedited orders placed by 2pm Eastern Standard Time are shipped same-day whenever possible. Orders are shipped via standard carriers such as UPS and US Postal Service. Contractor City requires shipment to the billing address of your credit card or to a business where you can be personally verified at, in the same state as your billing address. We do not ship to APO's, post office boxes, or hotels.

I placed my order on Friday, where is it?

No orders are processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by phone or e-mail. If the delay is due to backorder, you will receive notice and be given the choice to remain on backorder, substitute to another item, or cancel your order. Please note that shipping time is not the same as total delivery time. We need time to process your order before we actually ship it, so understand that choosing 'Next Day Air' does not mean your order will be delivered the day after you place it online.

How do I return an item?

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any of our books or other hardgood items, you may return them within 30 days for a full and prompt refund of your purchase price.

Due to manufacturer policies, some select items may not eligible for return. This will be clearly noted where applicable on the product page for those items.

Because of their intangible nature, electronic downloads (softgoods) are non-refundable, although a store credit may be extended at our discretion.

All returns must have an Return Material Authorization (RMA) number issued by Contractor City customer service, and must be sent (in their original shipping materials with the original packing slip enclosed) to the address provided by Customer Service with the RMA. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of receipt of goods.

Any returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted for refund, exchange, or credit. Any returns sent to any address other than the one provided by Customer Service will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

To obtain an RMA, please email orders @ contractorcity.com, and include your name, order number, and name of the item you wish to return.

UPS Ground $6.95 Flat Rate up to 5 items

• For the first five (5) items, not including the Contractor's Form Pack Downloads (there is never a shipping charge for download-only items).
• This shipping option is for standard shipping, usually 2 - 4 business days in the state of California and usually 4 - 7 business days in all other contiguous US states.
• Ground orders placed by 1 p.m. EST are processed same day whenever possible and shipped the following business day.
• If this option is chosen for non-US or non-contiguous US states or US territories, we will hold your order while getting a over-seas or international shipping quotes for your approval.

UPS Ground 6 or more items - we contact you via email

• For six (6) or more items, not including the Contractor's Form Pack Downloads (there is never a shipping charge for download-only items).
• We forward your shipping quote to you as soon as possible. Please be sure your SPAM filter is set to accept email from orders @ contractorcity.com.
• This shipping option is for standard shipping, usually 2 - 4 business days in the state of California and usually 4 - 7 business days in all other contiguous US states.
• Ground orders placed by 1 p.m. EST are processed same day whenever possible and shipped the following business day.
• If this option is chosen for non-US or non-contiguous US states or US territories, we will hold your order while getting over-seas or international shipping quotes for your approval.

3 Day Select

• This shipping option is valid for all US States except California. This is because most of our items ship from CA warehouses and the delivery time in CA is comparable to that of Ground delivery. (CA customers: Please choose Ground or 2nd Day or Next Day delivery.)
• 3 Day Select orders placed by 1 p.m. EST are processed and shipped same day whenever possible.

2nd Day Air

• This shipping option is valid for all US States.
• 2nd Day Air orders placed by 1 p.m. EST are processed and shipped same day whenever possible.

Next Day Air

• This shipping option is valid for all US States.
• Next Day Air orders placed by 1 p.m. EST are processed and shipped same day whenever possible.

Non-Continental US - we email you with ship rates

• We get shipping quotes and forward them to you as soon as possible. If you have a certain shipping preference please write a note in the comments section of the order form. For example: "Need this as soon as possible, please get expedited shipping quotes."

International - we email you with ship rates

• We always verify credit card information with the issuing bank before making any shipments.
• Make sure you enter your billing address exactly as it is on-file with your credit card's issuing bank.
• We will only ship to the Billing Address for international credit cards.
• PayPal may only be used by PayPal verified customers in Canada, UK & USA (due to PayPal security considerations). If you are outside of the approved areas, please use a valid credit card instead.
• When you complete your order no shipping fee will be calculated. We will get shipping quotes for your order and forward them to you via email as soon as possible. If you have a certain shipping preference please write a note in the comments section of the order form. For example: "Need this as soon as possible, please get expedited shipping quotes."

Download FormPacks - No shipping fee

• This option is for orders that have *only* one or more of the "Contractor's Form Pack" items. These are electronic downloads and there will be no shipping charge for this item regardless of which shipping option is chosen.
• The electronic downloads will become available to you immediately after completing your order by pressing the red "Download Now" button on your confirmation screen.
• If this option is selected for an order containing books, software or other physical items, no shipping fee will be calculated. Your order will be placed on hold while we contact you to get your choice for shipping and authorization for shipping payment. It will not result in your order being shipped free-of-charge and it will not make a physical item downloadable.

American Military or Embassy (non-US locations)

• For our customers with over-seas US Military or US Embassy addresses, we will send you a US Postal Service shipping quote. If you need expedited shipping (faster than Priority Mail) please say so in the comment section of the order form.
