Privacy Policy

We never sell, trade, or give your private information to any outside parties for the purpose of marketing. We think junkmail and telemarketers stink, and we bet you think so too.

We request certain private information from you such as your name, contact, and payment information in order to fulfill your purchases. We share info with the product suppliers and appropriate bank or credit card bureaus solely for the purpose of fulfilling your transaction.

We may, from time to time, send you a news email to inform you of a new reference volume available or other valuable information. You may, of course, unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. That's it.

Secure Shopping

All transactions are protected using state-of-the-art 128-bit encription SSL. We use Yahoo! Store Cart and Paymentech Transaction Gateway technology to ensure that your private information is safe from identity thieves and hackers. To protect against fraudulent charges, any submitted information that cannot be automatically verified by the issuing bank's transaction server will immediatly place the order in a pending status until manual verification can be made.

Sales Taxes

Contractor City will automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered within the state of Florida. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other applicable taxes, tariffs, or levies on orders shipped to any other state.

Shipping and Billing

All orders are processed within 24 business hours of receipt. Actual shipping time is contingent upon availability of merchandise and credit verification by AHI's Credit and Fraud Protection department. Most orders are shipped within 72 business hours of receipt. Expedited orders placed by 2pm Eastern Standard Time are shipped same-day whenever possible. Orders are shipped via standard carriers such as UPS and US Postal Service. Contractor City requires shipment to the billing address of your credit card or to a business where you can be personally verified at, in the same state as your billing address. We do not ship to APO's, post office boxes, or hotels.

Contractor City is not responsible for any merchandise or orders that are forwarded to an address different than the one specified on the original order. Any shipping address that was altered by the consumer is the sole responsibility of the consumer. Contractor City is not responsible for any delivery delays or incompletions due to an incorrect or insufficient shipping name/address provided by the customer. Contractor City is not responsible for any fees, duties or tariffs of any kind.

No orders are processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by phone or e-mail. If the delay is due to backorder, you will receive notice and be given the choice to remain on backorder, substitute to another item, or cancel your order. Please note that shipping time is not the same as total delivery time. We need time to process your order before we actually ship it, so understand that choosing 'Next Day Air' does not mean your order will be delivered the day after you place it online.

Returns

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any of our books or other hardgood items, you may return them within 30 days for a full and prompt refund of your purchase price.

Due to manufacturer policies, some select items may not eligible for return. This will be clearly noted where applicable on the product page for those items.

Because of their intangible nature, electronic downloads (softgoods) are non-refundable, although a store credit may be extended at our discretion.

All returns must have an RMA number issued by Contractor City customer service, and must be sent (in their original shipping materials with the original packing slip enclosed) to the address provided by customer service with the RMA. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of receipt of goods. Any returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted for refund, exchange, or credit.

International Orders and Export

While we do have the ability to ship worldwide, Contractor City does not accept internationally billed credit cards, or money orders drawn from banks outside the United States and Canada. We sell only to end customers and do not accept orders from exporters. Sorry, no exceptions of any kind. Depending on your global location, there may be logistical, socio-economic or political issues that would prevent us from shipping to that particular point. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
