Customer verses bids pricing 1 Year, 8 Months ago
I keep bidding jobs still on the National average and losing them to other contractors, customers saying my prices are to high and I loose alot of jobs because I stick to my guns. But It's those customers that I don't want that tell me Im to high. This is where customer verses bidding cost comes in if I can impress those customers that I can sell the job to then it's those customers I want to keep. Sure they can get it done cheaper, but I hate to say the word cheap when it comes to remodeling. I love to tell them that we can do it "inexpensively" insted of "cheap". Then I can get their attention as to how to do it professionally and do a professional job for them in the meantime. In remodeling you get what you pay for and I believe we are living in a time where people are trying to lean towards economy.

I always use that old joke (not a joke really, but I smile when I say it):

"Work can be done cheap, fast, or well. Which two would you like?"

The I give 'em a quote
