Left or Right handed circular saws 5 Years, 2 Months ago
I have used a Skill worm drive saw for framing only (cause the bugger is so heavy) and love the fact that the blade is on the left side. I use a Porter Cable now with that blade configuration and love it cause I can see the blade easy and I don't have to eat dust. My forman hates the new saw and I guess it is what you are use to, any thoughts???

well for me they are a blessing in disguise as I'm left handed to start with and to see my cut line with my dewalt is not longer a hope it's going stright or a guess of which side of the line i'm on is no longer a problem ve the older ones having to look over it put up with the sawdust no more so to all the tool maker thank you it's about time they have give us a choice of sides

Welcome Canuk; Great to see another Canadian among us. I am right handed and I use the Porter Cable jobey. I like it tons. It is light enough to work over head if nessesary and it ejects dust great. I have a Skill worm drive that will go through anything , but man, it's heavy. Where in Canada do you reside?
