That's a fine line you walk there. You don't want to make your other contracting company mad because they could sue which is never fun. Now, you have to find clients that you know they wouldn't touch. Ones that were either too small or not enough money in them for the company. Then get them, from there say "Hey, if you liked my service right? {right} Then pass my card along to your friends." That's what I did for a while and it worked out great. Granted I was in website design sales, but still.
Also, one thing you might want to look into is Get A Supplier (
Get A Supplier) they could help you get your bids out faster. Which as you know is the key to almost everything.
